The Real Killer Podcast
Leah Rothman is the creator, writer, and host of THE REAL KILLER, in-depth, documentary- style podcast, which launched in 2021. The first season focuses on the horrific murder of JoAnn Tate, the vicious attack on her two young daughters, and the wrongful conviction of Rodney Lincoln. Proudly, Leah was invited to lead a panel discussion at CrimeCon 2022 with those at the very center of this first season's story. The second season of THE REAL KILLER focuses on Keith LaMar, a man sitting on Ohio’s Death Row, who says he’s innocent of killing five men during one of the longest prison riots in U.S. History.
Prior to THE REAL KILLER, Leah worked at CRIME WATCH DAILY, writing and producing numerous true crime stories during their entire three-year run. Two of her three Daytime Emmy nominations came from the work she did on this show.
In addition, Leah has produced for: A&E, Bravo, CBS, FOX, History Channel, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, MSNBC, OWN, Oxygen, Paramount Pictures, TLC, Telepictures, Travel Channel, Tyler Perry Studios, and Universal Pictures. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Jim, and rescue dog, Dexter.
